Who We Are
Cashell (“we”, “us”) is run by Arabella Tyrwhitt-Drake, who operates cashell.co, including the introduction pages at cashell.co/introduction, and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@cashell.co.
What We Collect
When you use the contact form: your name, email address, venue name if you give one, the type of enquiry and your message.
When you sign the confidentiality agreement to enter the introduction pages: your full legal name, email address, whether you are signing for yourself or for a company or fund (with its name, your job title and confirmation of your authority to sign), your typed signature, the date, time and version of the agreement, and your browser details and time zone at the moment of signing, so the record can be verified.
When you visit any page: our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and our fonts and images are served from cashell.co itself.
Why We Use It
To reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss a possible partnership or membership. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
To keep a record of the agreement you signed, so that both sides can rely on it. Our legal basis is the agreement itself and our legitimate interest in protecting confidential information.
To run the site securely. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.
We will not send you marketing unless you ask us to.
Storage on Your Device
We do not use cookies. We use your browser’s own storage for two things only: to remember, for the current visit, that you have seen the notice about this, and, on the introduction pages, to remember on that device that you have signed the agreement so you are not asked again. Both are needed for the site to work. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Who We Share It With
We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the site: Netlify, which hosts the site and receives form submissions, and our email providers, which deliver those submissions to us. Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where information leaves the UK, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries: while we are in contact, and no longer than two years after our last contact unless a working relationship follows.
Signed agreements: for as long as the agreement applies and for six years afterwards, the period in which a claim could be brought.
Hosting records: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.
Your Rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to our use of it. Email hello@cashell.co and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we would welcome the chance to put things right first.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top.
